Dear Harritt Families,
As we gear up for our annual elections at the upcoming meeting on May 29th, 2024, from 6 pm to 7 pm, we want to stress the importance of your participation. Your presence and voice matter immensely in shaping the future direction of our Parent-Teacher Club (PTC), which plays a pivotal role in supporting both our families and teachers.
The PTC is the backbone of our school community, tirelessly working behind the scenes to enhance the educational experience of our children and foster a nurturing environment for all. From organizing enriching events to managing vital resources, the PTC's efforts touch every aspect of school life.
This year's elections offer you the opportunity to directly influence the leadership that will guide the PTC's endeavors. We have several crucial roles up for election, each carrying its unique responsibilities in ensuring the smooth functioning of our committee:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Volunteer Coordinator
Community Fundraiser
Event Coordinator
Member at Large
Attached to this post, you'll find detailed job descriptions, as well as important documents such as PTC's bylaws. Here is a link to Robert's Rules of Order summary, which serve as guiding principles for our operations.
Your active participation in the elections not only ensures that your voice is heard but also strengthens the foundation of our collaborative efforts. Together, we can continue to build a vibrant and supportive community that empowers both our children and educators.
We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting on May 29th. Let's come together and shape the future of our PTC and, by extension, the future of our beloved school.
